Paze Getting Started

Paze is a digital wallet that enables fast, secure online checkout. Customers can pay using cards enrolled in their Paze wallet without manually entering card details.

Overview​

With Pay Theory's Paze integration:

  • Customers authenticate through the Paze checkout experience
  • Payment data is tokenized and encrypted for enhanced security
  • Transactions process through your existing Pay Theory merchant account

Integration Flow​

Paze integration follows a straightforward flow:

  1. Integrate the Paze SDK - Implement Paze's checkout experience on your site
  2. Capture the payload - Receive the encrypted payload from Paze's complete function
  3. Process with Pay Theory - Pass the payload to Pay Theory to complete the transaction

To integrate Paze's checkout experience, follow their official documentation:

The Paze SDK handles:

  • Consumer authentication and card selection
  • Address and contact information collection
  • Returning an encrypted payload containing payment credentials

Merchant Registration​

Before accepting Paze payments, you must register your merchant account with Paze through the Pay Theory partner portal.

Contact your Pay Theory representative or reach out to support@paytheory.com if you have questions about the registration process.

Processing with Pay Theory​

After the customer completes the Paze checkout flow, you receive an encrypted payload from the complete function. Pass this payload to Pay Theory using either our JavaScript SDK or API.
